Name:Jonothon Evan Starsmore (Chamber)
Birthdate:Feb 21
Disclaimer: This is an RP journal. Chamber belongs to Marvel Comics and is used without permission for zero profit. Noel Fielding belongs to himself, hopefully.
The muse and mun are well over 18.

Characterization: Jonothon is roughly canon, with appropriate handwaving. He can also be adapted for cinematic universes.

Chamber is moody, introspective, and given to spouting cryptic statements in the rain. He likes the Sisters of Mercy, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and the Smiths. Nobody ever taught him how to brush his hair.

616!Bio: Jonothon was a late bloomer by mutant standards - his powers didn't kick in until he was in his late teens, and when they did they erupted violently. He'd been trying to score with his girlfriend in a coat room at the time (suave) and his powers not only blew out his face and chest but also crippled his lady love.

Jono received a letter from Professor Charles Xavier, inviting him to attend his new school for Gifted Youngsters in Massachusetts. He accepted, and went on to join the young mutant team that came to be known as Generation X. During his stint in Gen X, Jono had an on-again-off-again relationship with his teammate, Husk. Eventually the school was closed, and Jono was invited to join the X-Men. He chose instead to run off to England and start banging a pop star, Sugar Kane. He eventually joined the team again, although he's not always happy about it.

Currently, Jono teaches a class at the Jean Grey school on "Coping With Physical Changes."

For a more detailed history, see the Uncanny X-men Spotlight, or this entry in the Xavier Files.

Powers: "Psionic biokinesis enabling him to unleash raw energy discharges that can strike with concussive force or disrupt the binding properties of matter on a sub-atomic level so that it explodes violently. This energy had destroyed a significant portion of his body from his navel up to beneath his nose, so that he no longer needs to eat or breathe and has to communicate telepathically." - From Uncanny X-Men Dot Net.

Jono is what happens when psionic energy goes very, very wrong. Also, despite being made up of psionic energy, Jono generally seems to be a really shitty telepath. This is both canon and hilarious.
